Three weeks ago, we went on a trip to Weeping Radish Farm Brewery and bought a bunch of their sausages. So, tonight we are working on homemade sauerkraut using this recipe to go with our craft sausages. We are fermenting it in mason jars with silicone airlock lids and glass weights. Pictures of the process are below. We’ll check back in another week or two to see how it tastes and looks.
My next fermentation project, I think, will be a batch of pickles. I’ve always wanted to try it and never realized that you could do fermentation in such small batches.
