Weekly Meal Plan – 05/05/2019

Guess who’s back?!

It has definitely been a minute. The first quarter and a half of this year has been kind of crazy. In January, I had to say goodbye to my kitty. It was very sudden and unexpected, and was followed by a ton of emotional eating. After that, work continued to get crazier and crazier until I realized that I was unhappy where I was and needed a change. I left my job in mid-April to start a new adventure.

Part of that new adventure includes making more time for myself and my health. I have been off keto since the end of January. We started back on plan last Friday, April 26. For the first 2-3 weeks, my focus is to ease back into keto by cutting carbs as much as possible. I’m not focusing on calories, right now. So far, I have avoided the keto flu during the first week, but I have had some major sugar cravings.

I am going to stick to this way of eating for this coming week and the week after, and then try to buckle down the carbs and calories, sticking to 20 net carbs per day. I want to keep on this path through July 25, 2019 with hopes of starting back on Deeper State Keto on August 1.

Since I am back on plan, I want to use this blog (and Instagram and Facebook) as a form of accountability for myself and, hopefully, a way to help others. I have some new recipes in the works, as well, and hope to post those soon.
